Outline of the day

  • Registration and tea/coffee
  • Blue Flame Meditation to start the day
    Led by: Seth Butcher
  • The scapegoat/sacrifice syndrome
    Presenter: Phil Mollon
Drawing on his latest book, ‘The Physics of the Mind’, Phil will outline the scapegoat/sacrifice syndrome – a common phenomenon that is both psychological and energetic sacrificial victim person is selected to be the receptacle for unwanted negativity (poverty, misfortune, failure) so that others can prosper – similar to the principle of Dorian Gray’s portrait in the attic. This selection can be
unconscious (in families or groups), or in some instances conscious and deliberate.
Phil will also be offering a demonstration of his work.
  • The management of Chronic Pain
Joint presenters: Ruth Meyers and Janice Scott
Chronic pain is often an intractable problem for the medical profession. Since it can have a large impact on a person’s daily life, when medication fails or cannot be tolerated, complementary approaches are often sought. In this team presentation we will cover some of the biology of pain and ways in which energy psychology can influence these biologic responses through a detailed case study. Other
supplementary approaches, including biomagnetism, will also be presented.
  • An introduction to Tom Altaffer’s Higher States Therapy
    Presenter: Adrian Dickinson
All energy psychology modalities provide access to higher states of awareness, whether using acupoint tapping, activating the chakra subtle-energy centres, or simply using words and intention. Tom Altaffer’s method is an interesting one, using intention and embodiment to access these higher states for information, guidance, wisdom and healing. I’m proposing to offer a guided meditation and then I will be demonstrating his ‘3-chair’ method.
  • Blue Flame Meditation – to end the day
